Ibanez uses mahogany for the narrow body, while the screwed neck is made of maple. The flat and wide "Wizard III" profile also provides the optimal foundation for high-speed solos and riffs on the Jatoba fingerboard. Two Ibanez Quantum Pickups on the guitar amplifier provide the adequate sound with a crisp response and assertive mid-focus. Last but not least the Ibanez Standard S521-OFM Ocean Fade Metallic is equipped with the Ibanez Fixed Bridge and precise Ibanez Die-Cast tuners.

Ibanez Standard S521-OFM Ocean Fade MetallicThe first thing that hits you is the looks. Absolutely gorgeous. No photo can give it justice, some graded metallic blue that shines a thousand lights in the sun. The set up was perfect for me right out of the box. It is my first S model and it is indeed so light and ergonomic, so thin and balanced. The sound is really strong, on a variety of amps I have. But I am only a house player, just for fun, so I am not going to give you any rundown on pickups etc. I play with some friends and it is my best guitar so far, and I have about ... too many by now. The pros will give you tips for the higher level. But honestly, an Ibanez S model for this price, I dont know how they do it. And I got it from MS to Luxembourg in less than 36 hours. Amazing service. 5 stars all over. Very happy customer.
