The Lexicon I-O 42 USB Audio Interface is a high quality audio interface that will work with your DAW of choice and provides more than enough inputs and outputs for most recording artists or producers.
The I-O 42 has four channels with dbx® 60V high-voltage, ultra-low noise mic preamps, which ensures maximum stability and provides pristine recording quality. High-end A/D – D/A converters at 24-bit / 96kHz will make sure that nothing is missed out from the dynamic range when converting and recording.
With the I-O 42, four channels of audio can be recorded simultaneously with its four combi-jack inputs which allow for either XLR or ¼” Jack input connections. All four channels are 48v Phantom power capable with two of the channels being hi-Z instrument ready. Along with these four inputs you will find two TRS ¼” Jack outputs, two ¼” headphone outputs, S/PDIF and MIDI in/out. Dedicated and intuitive controls are all found on the front of the device, making it an ideal recording interface for home studio use.
