The Vox MVX150H guitar top is based on the innovative Nutube technology for creating versatile guitar sounds with an authentic tube character. Both channels cover the entire gain spectrum between crystal-clear clean sounds, harmonic overdrive and hot distortion, while 150 watts of power guarantee powerful sounds in rehearsal rooms and on stage. Last but not least, the Vox MV150H Head convinces with innovative detail solutions, including BIAS controls for each channel and a wet output for setting up a professional wet/dry setup.
For a particularly versatile sound spectrum, the Vox MVX150H has two channels, which are particularly dynamic and harmonious thanks to the Nutube tube. Channel 1 is responsible for clean and crunchy sounds, with a fat and bright switch next to the tone control available for tuning. Channel 2, on the other hand, stands for lush rhythm and burning lead sounds that can be adjusted using 3-band tone control and fat, bright and mid-shift switches. Each channel also has a Nutube BIAS control to adjust the sound character between a softer vintage response or modern tightness.
Of course, the Vox MVX150H Head is equipped with an integrated reverb effect, which expands the sound by a vivid three-dimensionality. An Effect Loop is also available for connecting further effects, which can be operated both serially and in parallel. Another useful detail is the"Wet Only" output of the Vox MVX150H, which only outputs the effect signal when an expansion box is connected, whereby the internal speaker only reproduces the dry signal. In this way a professional wet/dry setup for use on stage or in the recording studio can be realized.
In the output stage of the Vox MVX150C1, a Nutube tube also works for the authentic and harmonious reproduction character. With 150 watts of power, the top unit provides sufficient volume reserves for stage use. In addition, the performance of the Vox MVX150C1 can be reduced in several steps, so that the combo can also be used in the home four walls with neighbourhood-compatible volume.
