CME U2MIDI Pro

The U2MIDI Pro from CME is a cost-effective option to connect a MIDI device to the computer. The USB-MIDI interface is needed if you want to control a synthesizer without USB input with your computer, if you want to use your old stage piano as a master keyboard for your DAW or if you want to backup and exchange data via SysEx. Thanks to the Class Compliant standard, no special drivers are required for operation. All common parameters from the MIDI protocol like notes, controller, clock, SysEx, timecode and MPE are processed and transferred. With the free available UxMIDI Tools software channels can be assigned and a number of MIDI filters can be defined. For some users this might be interesting because an additional, external MIDI filter is no longer needed.
