The ESP LTD EC-1000 Duncan Vintage Black is one of the most sought-after designs of the guitar company from Tokyo and is a true workhorse for rock and metal sounds. Based on the chic Eclipse single-cut design, the electric guitar features a mahogany body with a vaulted top and a three-piece Mahogany neck glued in a set-thru fashion. Thanks to the flowing neck base and "Thin U" profile, the guitar is easily playable up to the 24th frets of the Macassar Ebony fretboard. Featuring the proven pickup setup of a Seymour Duncan '59 neck and a Seymour Duncan JB bridge, the ESP LTD EC-1000 Duncan Vintage Black makes a big impact on the amp and delivers precisely articulated classic-style sounds that are perfect for band mixing, even at maximum gain settings. Thanks to the coil-split circuit, the electric guitar also delivers first-class single-coil sounds after one pull of the tone control. Last but not least, the ESP LTD EC-1000 Duncan Vintage Black is completed by high-quality hardware in the form of TonePros locking bridge and stop bar and precise LTD locking tuner.
Really happy with this guitar. Finish, bindings etc are flawless. The binding colour is more orange than the yellow in the product pictures. I prefer the orange. It’s a really effortless guitar to play. Neck is quick, but feels substantial. Guitar is noticeably lighter than other Les Paul types that I’ve previously played.
