High-quality tonewoods and gold hardware
The two-piecebody made of selected ash with staggered glue joint impresses with its low weight and classic Stratocaster handling, while the nitrocellulose lacquer finish ensures a particularly natural look. The quartersawn neck made of 2A Flame maple offers high stability and carries a fingerboard, which is also made of 2A Flame maple and has 22 medium jumbo frets and a modern 12" radius. The '60s oval "C" neck profile combines comfortable grip with fast playability over the entire scale length of 25.5". Details such as the bone nut, golden Vintage-Style tuners and the golden 6-saddle RSD Stratocaster tremolo with steel saddles round off the features perfectly.
Custom Shop Hand-Wound '60-'63 Dual-Mag Strat Single Coils and Grassbucket circuit
The American Custom Stratocaster NOS is equipped with three hand-wound Custom Shop'60-'63 Dual-Mag Single Coils, which cover the classic Strat sound spectrum from shimmering clean sounds to assertive overdrive tones. The SSS configuration is controlled via a 5-way switch and supplemented by a Master-Volume and two tone controls, including a Greasebucket Tone circuit for the bridge pickup, which reduces treble without adding extra bass. This combination ensures high tonal flexibility and precise control over the typical Stratocaster sound.
