The Fender Switchboard Effects Operator is the perfect control center for extensive pedalboards and brings order and overview to complex effect setups. To achieve this, the Effects Operator relies on its five separately controllable effects loops, which enable the integration of numerous external stompboxes and FX units and even allow stereo effects to be looped in via Loop 5. Despite a particularly clear user interface with six footswitches, the Switchboard offers astonishingly extensive customization options for controlling the connected effects down to the smallest detail. The color LCD screen and encoder knob provide an easy-to-use User interface for extensive deep-level editing and 400 preset memory locations with an additional 100 favorite slots. Furthermore, the Switchboard Effects offers additional options for fully integrating the extensive switcher into existing setups with a 5-pin MIDI output as well as a connection for an expression pedal and footswitch output.
