The UP 360 BK from Gewa is a pleasantly playable digital piano in a classic cabinet design with a high-quality black matte finish. The German-made instrument features a weighted hammer action keyboard with 88 ivory touch surface keys, which provide an excellent playing feel. The digital sound generation simulates the string resonance behavior and holds over 30 different sounds and an additional 128 GM (General MIDI) sounds, the piano samples are based on the popular Steinway D-274 concert grand piano. 16 memory locations are available for custom sound settings. Thanks to the 256 voices the Gewa and 360 BK is fully polyphonic playable. The specially adapted stereo loudspeakers are operated with an Class D amplifier, which also benefits the reverb and modulation effects. Details like the 4th hand mode, a recording function and a metronome are perfect learning and playing aids. In addition, a playback function for MP3 files via USB stick is offered, and the UP 360 BK can be connected to another audio system via Bluetooth eg. if required. If the digital piano is not in use, the keyboard cover can be pulled out to protect the keyboard from dust and dirt, and the music stand can also be folded down.
Thanks to two headphone outputs, it can be played and practiced undisturbed at any time of the day, even in duet. With the MIDI inputs and outputs, the Gewa and 360 BK can be used as a keyboard for other sound generators, but also controlled as an expander. The MIDI connection can also be made via USB. Stereo outputs connect the digital piano to a mixing console, an audio interface or the home stereo system. The stereo input is intended for connecting a smartphone or CD player and integrating the music from it into the exercises.
