With the Keystage 49, Korg presents a cutting-edge USB DAW controller that shines with the new MIDI 2.0 standard and features an integrated audio interface. Thanks to the semi-weighted 49-key keyboard, very sensitive playing is guaranteed. The highlight of the keyboard is the polyphonic aftertouch, which responds to even light pressure and allows nuanced control of the assigned parameters. The Keystage's exterior impresses with a clearly structured user interface, an elegant-looking design and light-colored wooden side panels, which visually contrast well with the dark case. A great help when working with this DAW Controller is the display strip, which shows the current assignment of the eight knobs along with the parameter value. Transport keys for start, stop, record, loop and tempo save you from having to reach for the mouse. An extensively adjustable arpeggiator with 20 rhythm patterns and a chord mode with 32 User and preset sets each are integrated as playing aids. The equipment also includes a removable tray that can be attached to the Keystage flat or at an angle. This allows a smartphone or tablet to be positioned directly on the keyboard, and of course a small laptop or desktop synthesizer can also be placed on the tray.
