The Laney BCC Spiral Array Chorus effect pedal from the English-made Black Country Customs series features three distinctive sounds that cover the classic tones of the '70s and '80s. The AN mode represents a lush analogue chorus, ranging from subtle broadening of the sound to a droning over-the-top modulation. The DIM preset, on the other hand, reproduces the wide spatiality of the first digital chorus effects, while the TSC mode delivers the typical tri-stereo chorus effect with which the L.A. studio scene shaped the sound of the Eighties. While the three-color status LED of the Laney BCC Spiral Array provides information about the selected mode, the familiar controls for Rate, Depth, Mix and Tone allow precise adjustment of the effects pedal. Last but not least, the Laney Black Country Custom Spiral Array has stereo outputs and a connector for optional expression pedals.
