00-14 acoustic guitar from the Martin Custom Shop with Adirondack-spruce top and flamed maple body, including case and certificate

Made exclusively for Music Store Cologne, the Martin 00-14 Custom Shop represents impressive craftsmanship and exquisite premium wood selection. The compact acoustic guitar from the hands of the famous luthier from Nazareth, Pennsylvania follows the traditional 00-14 Fret design and provides with a body composed of solid curly maple and selected Adirondack spruce for clear and bell-like sounds with direct bass response. The neck of the Martin 00-14 Custom Shop is also crafted from flamed maple and carries a 20-fret ebony fingerboard with historic Style 45 inlays of abalone. Additional optical refinements in the form of classic Style 45 fingerboard inlays and a precisely crafted Plum Katalox Binding on body, neck, headstock and fretboard complete the Martin 00-14 Custom Shop. Certificate and hardshell case included!

With the use of powerful and evenly grained curly maple for the back and sides, the sound of the 00-14 Custom Shop gets additional Attack with an extremely nimble response and clarity, while the top of solid Adirondack spruce contributes the coveted pre-war sound with immense dynamic range and additional definition of the high mids. The proven Martin X-Bracing under the hood ensures a robust construction that allows the top to vibrate freely.

In addition to a classic faux tortoise teardrop pickguard, the 00-14 features historic Style 45 inlays from the pre-war models on the fretboard and rosette, and a gloss lacquered ebony headstock veneer trimmed with a natural plum Katalox binding. furthermore, the 00-14 Custom Shop features historically correct Waverly 4060 tuners in a nickel finish and a traditional belly-up ebony bridge with compensated bone saddle.
