Lightweight replacement mechanism for Sandberg basses
The Sandberg Machine Head Aluminium is the perfect replacement tuner for Sandberg basses. With its lightweight aluminium body, the tuner weighs in at just 46 grams and is perfect for giving top-heavy instruments a better balance on the strap. The right-hand version is suitable for left-handed basses or as a replacement for the fifth machine head of 5 strings.

These tuners went on my Sandberg Electra M4 with originally noname jazz/p style tuners which weighed about 100g each, the gears had gone sloppy and creaky over the years.
This was a great upgrade since these are less than half of the weight of the original ones. Also smooth operating with no play!
Note that for this swap i had to drill new holes for fitting the screw at the back of the headstock and punch out the old bushings from the peg holes. All worth it though! :)
