The Sigma SOMR-45 produces a very balanced sound thanks to its solid construction, which is suitable for both fine picking and light strumming. While the fretboard has enough room to handle even complex finger patterns, sorgt the low profile provides a very comfortable playability in all 20 frets. Furthermore the high quality bone hardware and the golden tuners guarantee a perfect intonation and a clean tuning. Visually, the acoustic guitar is rounded off by filigree inlays of abalone and a wafer-thin high-gloss finish. Included in delivery is a light and at the same time stable Sigma Softshell-Case SSC-OM.
Construction and woods
To ensure that every tone is even and powerful, the construction consists of a Sitka spruce top on a rosewood body. This combination sorgt makes for a very balanced sound overall, with a fast and extensive response. At the same time, the flat mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard promises easy gripping of the 6 steel strings, which end in a bridge also made of ebony.
Hardware and Design
The compensated bridge inlay and the 44.5 mm wide nut made of bone are precisely matched, so that the Sigma SOMR-45 Gitarre intonates cleanly over the entire scale length of 645 mm. Open tuners also ensure easy tuning of the strings and give the overall appearance with its gold hardware a noble touch. The frets are marked with generous hexagon inlays that perfectly match the multi-ply binding and three-ring soundhole rosette.
