With the CD-A580, Tascam offers a combination of CD player, USB recorder/-player and cassette deck - together with the robust and rakeable 19" housing (3 U), thus ideal for any application in live operation. Starting with the CD player, CD-Rs and CD-RWs can be played in CD-DA or data format (MP3), while various functions such as random playback, programmed playback, different playback modes, playback modes during ripping and start playback when power is supplied. A memory to protect against dropouts was also installed.
The cassette deck works with cassettes from C-10 to C-90 and enables the copying of CDs thanks to the dubbing function. The integrated USB recorder/player scores with its recording option in MP3 format from CD, cassette or line input, which makes it very flexible. Of course, different playback modes such as Random, Programmed and Repeat are also possible. Like the cassette deck, the CD A580's other features include unbalanced analog inputs/outputs (RCA), a headphone output with level control, the included infrared remote control and the LC display with level indicators, so you're ready for any type of event.
