With the Yamaha FG 820-12 NT II Natural, the Japanese manufacturer Yamaha presents a traditional 12-string acoustic guitar in dreadnought construction, which features powerful, warm bass frequencies and a clean finish. A construction consisting of a solid spruce top and a laminated mahogany body produces a quick responsive sound that unfolds very much in both the mid and treble frequencies. Due to a flat scalloped bracing and a razor-thin finish, every single note is fully developed even with light touches and resonates persistently in the overtones. In addition, a flat Nato neck with a walnut fingerboard provides a remarkably gentle playing feel in all positions and, in combination with a narrow nut width of 46 mm, allows for a clean grip in all 20 frets. A bridge inlay and a finely notched nut made of urea contribute significantly to precise intonation over the entire scale length of 650 mm, so that perfect results are also achieved when playing with a capo. In addition, high-quality, chrome-plated die-cast tuners allow easy tuning of the 12 steel strings, which end in a bridge made of rough-grained walnut. The Yamaha FG 820-12 NT II Natural 12-string dreadnought acoustic guitar is completed with a classy high-gloss finish.
