The Art & Lutheries Americana resonance cabinet with a solid and pressure-tested spruce top ensures appropriate sounds and clearly defined trebles. Accordingly, the instrument produces clear sounds rich in overtones with crisp attack and clear tonal separation, while in the back and sides native woods in the form of Canadian wild cherry are used and fill the sound profile with central warmth. Thanks to the thin and open-pored finish, the resonance of the body is not slowed down by heavy paints and offers the greatest possible acoustic radiance in all positions.

Godin's Quantum 1T pickup system relies on direct resonance transmission on the bridge using an under-saddle transducer and skilfully reproduces the player's touch dynamics. In addition to a graphic 2-band equalizer for bass and treble, the system has a volume control for adjusting the signal volume and an integrated tuner with 7-segment display. Of course, the outgoing signal can be used for recording as well as amplification via acoustic amps and PAs and in conjunction with effect devices.
