If you want to buy a reverb pedal thats exact whats you need.THIS THING Is awesome...
About as close to perfect as you can be. You would really have to picky and know your verbs to not be happy with this thing. Its got to be up there on the list though. I dont know how it compares really primo verbs, but at some point, it just becomes a matter of taste. This thing is worth owning unless you are an absolute snob about verbs, which happens. Otherwise, if you are just looking for a really great verb, this has to be on the list.
This thing has a really good feature set. Every knob does something really useful. You can absolutely dial in a great verb with this pedal, period. It also has presets and delay. Fullest featured verb Ive ever played. Might even compare with a TC Nova Verb or other very tweekable verb in the feature department.
All EHX pedals are constructed of the same metal housing, and use a highly durable metal switch. It should hold up forever. I give it a 9 because the knobs are a bit small, and the whole apparatus is a bit dinky. GREAT for pedal board space, but it does feel like a male foot in army boots could break something.
Its expensive, but its worth it. Honestly, I would rarely give anything this expensive a good value rating, but it just blows away a verb, and it kicks the verbs I have on my two multi-effect pedals.
When you play on "Electro Harmonix Cathedral" you feel that it is part of a spaceship or UFO. "The good reverb pedal", it is not enough words to describe the effect of this guitar. If you buy nothing to regret. The pedal has a lot of options and opportunities. (24-bit AD, stereo inputs and outputs, 8 programmable, Tap Tempo, Hold tap tempo etc.) Has many awards and recognitions among the famous guitarists.
I approve!
Ive been looking for a reverb for my synths, didnt feel like going for neither top of the line units (x2 the price of this), nor cheap stuff. The result is - Ive got a very nice versatile reverb that really makes any synth shine. The fact that it can be used with stereo inputs/outputs is an extra plus - one of my synths has stereo outs. It looks pretty, but is built like a tank. So far, Im loving it.
