The EoWave Ricochet consists of four decay envelopes, each with its own VCA and integrated noise generator. Due to the exponential characteristic of the decay parameter, the module is excellent for creating percussive drum sounds. Thanks to the noise generator, which is normalized to the VCAs, analog hi-hats can be effortlessly achieved with Ricochet alone; alternatively, any other audio signal can be fed into the VCAs. Each envelope has a VCA permanently assigned to it, and the VCAs themselves have a gain control and audio inputs and outputs; all four are combined on the mix output, eliminating the need for another mixer module depending on the setup. A single envelope is triggered by the gate input or, in link mode, by the voltage waveform of the previous envelope; the threshold for this is set by trimmer in link mode. Each Decay parameter is additionally equipped with a CV input including attenuator, how exciting it would be to modulate the decay value with the accent track of a sequencer! The four CV outputs of the envelopes are also summed which is suitable for Ratcheting and fast multiple triggers for claps.
