Timeless classic with slim taper C-neck and ProBucker pickups
The Epiphone SG Standard is a model from the Inspired by Gibson Collection and combines the classic SG look with modern features. The lightweight mahogany body in double-cutaway design offers comfortable access up to high registers, while the glued-in mahogany neck in SlimTaper C profile supports Sustain and a fast playing feel. The bound rosewood fingerboard comes with 22 medium Jumbo frets, Trapez-Inlays and a 12" radius. Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut and the combination of Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece ensure robust tuning and precise intonation. In terms of sound, the SG Standard uses two humbuckers: Epiphone ProBucker 2 on the neck and ProBucker 3 on the bridge, controlled via two volume and two tone controls and a 3-way toggle switch.
