The Ibanez EHB605 from the Bass Workshop series is a modern headless bass designed for ergonomics, low weight and versatile sound shaping. Its contoured okoume body with fluted back, bevelled body shape and rounded edges, together with the headless construction, ensures balanced handling and high playing comfort, making it ideal for long sessions. The bolt-on five-strut neck made of maple and Jatoba provides a robust base and carries a Jatoba fingerboard with 24 medium frets and a generous 19.7" radius. In terms of sound, the EHB605 relies on two active α1 pickups in conjunction with the Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, which allows precise adjustment of bass, mids and treble. An additional EQ bypass switch with passive tone control extends the flexibility.
