The Ibanez RGD2127FX-ISH 7-String Electric Guitar, Invisible Shadow offers an ultimate metal machine, specifically designed for thick, down-tuned tones while retaining a responsiveness feel and a neck still considered ‘fast’ for speed soloing. Extra-deep, tapered cutaways allow access all areas of the fingerboard.
Other premium features include a Tight-End R bridge, designed specifically for the RG flat top. A marked improvement over the conventional fixed bridge, the Tight-End R delivers both playability and rock-solid stability. Saddles firmly locked onto the base plate maximize string vibration transmitted to the body. The smooth bridge surface protects the strumming hand no matter how aggressive the playing. Simple saddle height and intonation adjustments ensure accurate set-up.
In addition the RGD2127FX-ISH 7-string includes V77/V87 custom pickups, custom designed for down tuning. These pickups are specially designed for capturing more low-end by regenerating a wider tonal range.
