The Oktava MK-012-01 Movie Set Silver features a high-quality MK-012-01 small-diaphragm condenser microphone whose wide, flat response ensures that all sounds are captured with high accuracy. The capsule, which by the way can be interchanged with other directional capsules (cardioid, omnidirectional; not included), has a precise, integrated connection system to ensure reliable electrical contact. Thanks to its hypercardioid characteristic, it is particularly well suited for use in the film industry and captures specific sound sources. However, its small size and clear frequency response also allow it to be used in broadcast, installation, theater and, of course, recording studios.
