Product information - Taylor 214ce

Electroacoustic acoustic guitar, Grand Auditorium design, solid Sitka spruce top, rosewood body, Expression System 2, including gig bag

The new Taylor 214ce is the Californian manufacturer's return to the format of its original Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar from the Mexican 200 series, now manufactured with a laminated rosewood body again. This, in combination with a solid Sitka spruce top , produces a powerful and clear sound, which is particularly pronounced in the low and high frequencies. A flat mahogany neck offers the player exceptional playability over the entire ebony fretboard , which is marked with dot inlays. The scale length of 648 mm and the nut width of 42.8 mm plus the overall size are the same as the original 214 models. For stage use, this instrument is equipped with a high-quality Taylor Expression System 2 that provides a very natural and precise sound through an amplifier. Each guitar comes in a sturdy Taylor hard gig bag .

The new Taylor 214ce features a back to the roots approach to the Grand Auditorium acoustic guitar.
