The Two Notes Torpedo Captor X+ is the latest evolution of the popular reactive loadbox, offering a versatile all-in-one solution for modern guitar recording, silent practice, and live performance. Building on the proven features 100-watt reactive load, integrated attenuator with three power settings (Home, Club, Stadium), and extensive IR-based speaker simulation the Captor X+ introduces numerous enhancements that make it even more flexible. At the heart of the system is the new True Stereo DynIR Engine, which allows independent positioning and panning of two microphones or IRs to create realistic, spatial stereo sounds. Extended routing capabilities include dual-mono operation and separate signal paths for each output, enabling multiple tones to be used simultaneously. The new Virtual Load Shaper allows precise adjustment of impedance behavior, shaping the feel and tonal response of your amplifier. The integrated FX section has also been expanded and now features an EQ, enhancer, and additional processing options alongside Reverb. The Captor X+ can be easily controlled via the updated Torpedo Remote software, with both USB-C and wireless connectivity. With XLR outputs, headphone support, MIDI integration, and comprehensive IR management, the Torpedo Captor X+ remains a powerful and flexible solution for modern guitarists now with significantly enhanced sound and routing options.
