Active retrofit electronics for Stratocaster electric guitars
The Fender Stratocaster Mid Boost Kit is an active retrofit electronics module for Stratocaster electric guitars that significantly expands the familiar sound profile. Accordingly, the active mid-boost raises the level of the mid-frequency ranges by up to 25 dB, thereby unlocking additional gain headroom on the guitar amplifier. Furthermore, the passive TBX tone control provides additional tonal versatility. From the neutral mid-position, it functions either as a low-pass or high-pass filter, allowing the sound to be precisely tailored.
