Agile Neck-Through Design
While Jackson uses Nyatoh wood for the body wings of the neck-through Soloist Checkered Past, the full-length neck is made of maple and reinforced with graphite inlays. The flat "Speed Neck" profile and the compound radius of the Indian Laurel fingerboard promise optimal playing characteristics so that high-speed riffs are just as easy to play as virtuoso endless solos.
Active High Output Pickups
With two active Jackson high-output humbuckers, the Jackson SLX DX electric guitar puts the guitar amplifier under proper steam and delivers aggressive distortion sounds with maximum assertiveness and transparency even at lower tunings. But even at moderate gain settings in the clean channel, the active pickups impress with a particularly transparent and clear representation of every note. To control the tone, there is also a classic circuit with 3-way switch and general controls for Volume and Tone.
