The Universal Audio Ruby '63 Top Boost Amplifier expands the popular UAFX Pedals series of the American recording specialists with a practical stereo preamp in pedal format. With the simulation of a traditional British amp and the matching speakers, it is ideally suited for direct recording on stage and in the recording room Studio. The powerful UAFX Dual Engine promises particularly detailed and natural sound images, while the UAFX Control App offers extensive setting options for the perfect sound.

Authentic sound with British character

The sonic heart of the Ruby '63 is the authentic simulation of a traditional tube amp from England, whose métier is the diverse sounds of Blues and rock. Three different channels with optional boost promise a rich sound spectrum, ranging from angelic cleans to complex Overdrive with British charisma and lively dynamics. The vibrato channel enriches the sound furthermore with a harmonic modulation of the volume, which is adjustable in speed and intensity.

Detailed speaker simulations

To achieve a particularly natural sound experience with the Ruby '63, Universal Audio equips the pedal with a diverse speaker simulation, which is sonically oriented towards a classic 2x12 combo cabinet and additionally offers microphone and room modeling. Here, in addition to the simulation of two legendary, British Alnico speakers with silver or blue basket, which promise a harmonious sound with sweet treble spectrum, the classic 25 watt ceramic speaker is available.

UAFX Control App for advanced setting options

Via the USB Type-C jack and the built-in Bluetooth module, the Universal Audio Ruby '63 Top Boost Amplifier also makes contact with the UAFX Control App, which is available for mobile devices running iOS or Android, PC or Mac. In addition to advanced settings and the option to archive presets, the software offers the ability to load Artist presets onto the guitar pedal.
