The Fender 1967 Heavy Relic Stratocaster RW Black offers authentic '60s style and the typical features of that time. Accordingly, the electric guitar is manufactured with an alder body and a screwed maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, on which, thanks to the slim "Mid '60s Oval C" profile, every note comes out of the hand by itself. With three hand-wound custom shop single coils, authentic vintage sounds between blues and rock are available on the guitar amplifier. Last but not least, the Fender '67 Heavy Relic Strat features the proven American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo and precise Vintage Style tuners.
For the construction of the Fender 1967 Heavy Relic Strat, the Fender Custom Shop uses carefully selected woods that reflect the historical specifications. Accordingly, the electric guitar has a light alder body and a screwed maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The thinly applied and artificially aged nitrocellulose finish also guarantees a lively sound, while the "Mid '60s Oval C" profile creates the best conditions for comfortable playability.
The Fender 1967 Heavy Relic Strat uses three hand-wound single coil pickups for a wide range of first-class vintage sounds. A Custom Shop Fat '60s Single Coil is used in the neck position, while a Custom Shop '65 RWRP Single Coil is used in the middle position, whose inverted winding and magnetic polarity suppress secondary noise in the intermediate positions. The bar position is also filled by a 1969 Custom Shop Strat Single Coil. The pickups are classically controlled by a 5-way blade switch, a volume control and two tone potentiometers.
