With the KMA Audio Machines Chief Disruptor, the creative Berlin-based effects company sends an extremely versatile fuzz and distortion effects pedal into the race, which helps you find the perfect sound with extensive sound options. In addition to three basic sound modes and a top Boost the distortion pedal offers an active Equalizer with separately switchable, semi-parametric midband.

Three basic fuzz sounds

At the heart of KMA's all-analog Chief Disruptor are three basic sound modes inspired by the most popular sounds of the rock era. "Tight" here stands for a surprisingly defined fuzz tone with tight bass foundation, focused and mids and crisp highs, while "Vintage " promises a smooth low-to-mid gain Fuzz with a balanced sound. furthermore, the "Heavy" mode more than lives up to its name, delivering an extremely saturated Fuzz with maximum gain and massive low end. To adjust the distortion and volume, the guitar pedal holds the Disruptor and Master controls ready.

Flexible tone control

To be able to adjust the EQ precisely, KMA Audio Machines equips the Chief Disruptor pedal with a particularly flexible active tone control. The Lows and Highs controls allow musical intervention in the lowest and highest frequency ranges with 15 dB each Boost or Cut. Thanks to its semi-parametric design, the midrange control, which is equipped with its own footswitch, allows particularly precise adjustment of the character-shaping frequency ranges.

Clean Blend and Top Boost

To ensure that the Chief Disruptor delivers a defined and assertive sound even when the Disruptor knob is set to foolhardy settings or when used with a Bass, KMA Audio Machines equips the effects unit with a Top Boost and Clean Blend function. The former lets the signal shine through the Mix with razor-sharp assertiveness by placing special emphasis on the high mids, while the latter adds the clean input signal either before or after the EQ so that the punch and Attack are preserved.
