More compact than ever: the rack-mounted effects unit from the 1970s is back!
The MXR M226R Flanger/Doubler brings the sounds of the legendary MXR Flanger/Doubler rack-mounted effect from the 1970s and 1980s into a compact pedal format. A fully analogue circuit featuring bucket-brigade devices offers a choice of classic flanger sweeps or a versatile doubler effect, which can augment the dry signal with everything from broad, chorus-like sounds to short slapback echoes. The Manual, Width and Speed controls allow for extensive shaping of the modulation, whilst Regen determines the intensity of the feedback and Mix controls the ratio between the direct and effect signals. In addition, the Invert switch opens up further sonic variations by reversing the polarity of the effect signal. Thanks to the CV In and CV Out sockets, the flanger/doubler can also be combined with synthesisers, sequencers, expression pedals and other CV-compatible equipment, whilst the line-level switch enables integration into setups with higher signal levels.
