Phonos is a phono preamplifier with VOLTAiR technology for record players with moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges. The RIAA equalization curve is suitable for all records since 1954. With up to 70 dB gain for MC cartridges and 51 dB gain for MM cartridges, Phonos is one of the most powerful phono preamplifiers.

VOLTAiR technology:

The 120V technology works with a direct voltage of 120 volts. This corresponds to twice the operating voltage of the best discrete operational amplifiers and four times that of IC-based semiconductor operational amplifiers. The 120V technology achieves exceptional technical specifications and sonic advantages. Technically, in terms of dynamic range, signal-to-noise ratio and clipping resistance. In terms of sound, in terms of richness of detail and an absolutely relaxed listening experience.
