The Showtec LED Octostrip MKII is a complete plug-and-play set consisting of 8 LED strips, a controller and eight 5 ml XLR extension cables.

The new Showtec LED Octostrip MKII can control the 8 individual RGB segments of each strip as well as the associated dimmer and strobe settings. The controller supports the Artnet protocol, which makes it easier to use the device in full RGB mode (192 channels). It is equipped with new colour presets and preset horizontal and vertical colour flow effects that can be accessed via DMX (6CH, 8CH, 14CH, 24CH,26CH 50CH, 96CH, 112CH, 192CH, and 208CH). The new Showtec Octostrip MKII can easily be combined with the Octostrip MKI on the same stage thanks to its identical hardware design. In this case, however, the old and new versions should not be operated in auto mode, as the preset programs are not the same. However, you can use both sets in one setup if you set 6CH and these DMX settings are the same.
