Synchronise your export selection with the selection in the project, save file format presets and recall them when needed, export the entire signal path including master bus effects to accurately reproduce the mix.

It is even possible to create export jobs in order to export them in one go. So nothing stands in the way of a well-deserved coffee break!

Sample, Slice, Move & Glide

Fans of the sampler track will now love it even more. The new slicing mode now cuts loops automatically, so you can find them immediately playable on the MIDI keyboard with just one click. In addition, there are two global LFOs that can be used to add movement to your sounds and make them even more interesting.

Sample engine quality modes provide choices between high-resolution audio or vintage feel, while additional features such as Mono Legato Glide prove handy tools for creating your own playable sounds.

Scale Assistant

The Scale Assistant is an ingenious addition for all songwriters - set a scale in the Key Editor to follow it automatically, quantise a solo to the set scale and make sure that one always plays only matching notes live.

The view can also be changed so that only the notes belonging to the set scale are visible. If necessary, the scale assistant even analyses your MIDI recording and suggests a suitable scale.

Perfect Pitchbends

The Key Editor now allows you to create gradients and curves in the CC and pitch bend tracks, just like you're used to with automation. Set your pitch bends to semitones and always stay perfectly in tune.

Conveniently copy your CC edits to another MIDI track and delete MIDI notes with a simple quick double-click.

Precise, dynamic, exceptional - Frequency 2

With Frequency 2, Cubase now provides a dynamic equalizer to bring your mixers up to speed even more efficiently. Each of the eight bands can be individually set to dynamic mode. This makes the filter node dependent on the input signal, allowing for impressive dynamic mixing.

Even different sidechaining per band can be set up by using the multi-sidechain architecture of VST 3.

Revised Score Editor

Among other workflow improvements, the Score Editor now also supports the SMuFL font format, so that the beautiful Dorico fonts Bravura and Petaluma can also be used in Cubase.
