The TC Helicon Harmony V60 is a compact yet powerful acoustic amp that offers some extremely useful features for singer/songwriters and live performers. The 60-watt amp offers two separate channels for instrument and vocals, an extensive effects section with additional circuits and sounds familiar from TC Electronic effect pedals, and a matching 4-button footswitch that makes operating the combo amp during live performances as easy as possible.
With its Class D bi-amplification, the TC Helicon Harmony V60 is easily capable of delivering enormous power reserves of up to 60 watts at any time, allowing it to handle even larger gigs with ease. The 8" Tannoy loudspeaker, which was developed especially for the Harmony amplifier, in combination with the switchable and upward radiating treble tweeter, ensures enormously clear and defined sounds. The result is an extremely differentiated and room-filling sound image, which allows both the vocals and the guitar even at high volume settings a detailed output.
To fine-tune the sound, a variety of different effects are also available for the instrument and microphone channels. The Voice Channel offers an Adaptive Tone Switch for polished vocals in studio quality and a transparent Pitch Correction, while two virtual harmony voices can be added at any time. The instrument channel also features a 3-band equalizer and the TC Electronic BodyRez circuit, which gives acoustic guitars with piezo pickups an incomparable body resonance. Spatial reverb and echo effects are equally available for both channels.
As a particularly interesting feature for outdoor musicians and live performers, TC Helicon gives the Harmony V60 an extensive and easy-to-use looper section. This offers a total recording time of up to 90 seconds with an unlimited number of overdubs and can, if required, record and play back the guitar signal, the microphone signal or both together in recorded phrases. Control is easy with the included 4-button footswitch, which makes not only looper functions, but also other effects of the Harmony V60 easily accessible by foot.
The TC Helicon Harmony V60 feels at home on stage as well as in the studio or bedroom, which is proven by its versatile connection options adapted to a wide range of applications. Two separate XLR connectors for guitar and mic can be routed to FOH or mixing consoles and PAs either as a raw DI signal or with effects, individually or as a stereo mix. Backing tracks can also be fed via Aux In at any time. For those who want to enjoy the Harmony's sound at home, there's a USB port for easy, high-quality recording and a headphone jack on the back for silent practice.
