2Hp Comb Black is a filter module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module functions as an IIR peaking comb filter and as an attenuation filter in the feedback path. Comb provides control over the cutoff frequency and resonance, which can be driven in self-oscillation. An incredibly short, tuned delay line changes the character of the input by imposing harmonic peaks on the source. Subtle settings can cause timbres to thicken, reminiscent of phaser-like effects, while more extreme settings can turn white noise into glossy string sounds or tear your waveform into shreds.
