The Fender American Performer Jazz Bass RW 3-Color Sunburst features two Fender Yosemite single-coil pickups that were specially developed for this model. With coil bodies impregnated with shellac to prevent feedback and flat pole pieces, they deliver a dynamically responsive sound that lays down the groove for almost any style of music thanks to their all-round characteristics. Furthermore, a special feature is the passive Greasebucket Tone Circuit at the treble control. By simultaneously reducing treble and bass, the sophisticated circuit enables smooth treble roll-offs without unwanted booming.
