Acoustic guitar in compact design with solid cedar top

Thanks to its solid cedar top, the Fender FSR CC-60S Cedar produces pleasantly warm bass and midrange frequencies that develop quickly and over a wide area. Thus, the instrument is excellent for fine pickings and vocal accompaniment. Due to its compact design, even children can start their first playing attempts on the Guitar without any problems. The flat neck with an easy-to-play profile also allows a very obliging fingering in all 20 frets. The instrument is rounded off by fine Bindings and discreet inlay work and is given a noble touch by the wafer-thin high-gloss varnish.

Construction and woods

Thanks to the laminated mahogany body and a scalloped X-bracing, the tone is enriched with a pleasant fullness. Therefore, even light touches produce an amazing carpet of sound that fades out long-lasting in the overtones. At the same time, the flat mahogany neck guarantees comfortable playability in all frets set into a walnut fingerboard.

Hardware and Design

To ensure that the instrument intonates cleanly over the entire 643 mm scale length, the manufacturer uses a finely notched 43 mm nut and bridge inlay made of GraphTech TUSQ. The headstock features chrome-plated die-cast tuners that allow the player to precisely tune the 6 steel str ings. Around the soundhole is a double ring rosette, which is perfectly matched to the simple multi-ply bindings and the dot inlays in the fretboard.
