The Formula Sound FF6.2 L is an audiophile 6-channel DJ club mixer with line faders, developed in cooperation with Funktion One. This sensational DJ mixer provides a precise 4-band, full-kill EQ on all channels, so that complete erasures as well as subtle interventions of individual frequency ranges can be realized. The response of the EQ is perfectly optimized for excellent, intuitive control of bass, low-mid, high-mid and treble. In addition to the EQ section, low and high pass filters with dedicated control per channel have been installed. The exceptional DJ mixer provides a 12 LED meter display for level control. So far unique among the DJ mixers are the 2 microphone inputs with phantom power as well as the compressor for the microphone signal, which can be selected via channel 1. In this way, the naturally high dynamic range of a voice can be specifically counteracted and the microphone signal can be transmitted in a volume consistent manner.
Other features include two aux inputs for looping in external effect devices, an interchangeable crossfader and two headphone jacks. In addition to the typical DJ mixer RCA inputs for line and phono signals, the FF6.2 L offers a balanced jack input on channels 1 & 2 in addition to a microphone input. On the output side, the line mixer provides professional, balanced XLR connectors for the master and booth signals as well as a separate mono output. The balanced outputs also have a 6-pin Phoenix output including a remote port for controlling the separate output to provide sound to another zone. A mute port is also available for alarm announcements, for example, which mutes the music but transmits the microphone signal.
