Compact audio interface with studio ambitions

The Korg microAUDIO 22 is a small audio interface with surprisingly mature aspirations. Designed for musicians, producers and content creators who have little space but high expectations, it delivers clean sound, direct operation and functions that are otherwise more familiar from larger studio setups. Whether for home recording, mobile producing or streaming, this interface feels right at home in many musical worlds.

Clear sound from the very first note

With a resolution of up to 192 kHz at 24 bit, the microAUDIO 22 plays in the top league of its class in terms of sound. The converters work transparently and with sufficient headroom, so that even dynamic performances are captured cleanly and without artifacts. Two combo inputs accept microphones, line signals or instruments with Hi-Z without any problems. The switchable 48 volt phantom power supplies condenser microphones reliably and without detours.

The editor software can also be used to activate Noise Gate and either a compressor or limiter. This allows you to control and shape your signal before recording. If desired, these effects can be applied not only to the input signal, but also to the computer sound. Practical for streaming, voice recording or quick demo recordings.

Direct monitoring and clever routing ideas

Timing counts when recording. That's why the microAUDIO 22 offers Zero Latency Direct Monitoring. Your input signal lands directly on the headphones, without any noticeable delay. The headphone output with 6.35 mm jack can be routed independently of the main outputs. Ideal for click tracks, cue signals or DJ applications where not everything should end up on the monitor speakers.

Another powerful function is Stereo Link. Both input channels can be controlled together, which simplifies the workflow, especially with Stereo synthesizers or Drum machines. The integrated loopback function rounds off the package and makes it possible to send the computer sound directly to the DAW or streaming software. Sampling, tutorials or Live streams can be realized without additional hardware.

USB C, mobile use and ready to go immediately

The microAUDIO 22 is connected and powered via USB C. This means it not only works on a computer, but also with smartphones or tablets. A real plus for mobile producing or recording on the go. Despite its compact dimensions, the interface is stable and well thought-out, with logically arranged controls and clear feedback when working.

To get you started right away, Korg includes a comprehensive software package. Ableton Live Lite iZotope Ozone Elements helps with the final sound, and with KORG Filter Ark you get a collection of legendary filters from classics such as MS 20, Polysix, miniKORG 700S and ARP Odyssey, supplemented by modern models.
