The revolutionary Mogees Sensor Microphone uses an app and a special sensor to transform vibrations into sounds, turning almost any object into a musical instrument. The Mogees Sensor Microphone sticks to almost everything thanks to a strong adhesive surface. If this object is then vibrated, the Mogees Sensor Microphone measures it and the appropriate iPhone or Mac OS X app converts the whole thing into music. From four different sound packages, musicians can choose whether they prefer to generate drums, percussion or even synthesizer sounds or guitars from the vibrations. The app is adaptive, which means it recognizes gestures again and learns intuitively how the musician likes to play. Of course, the Mogees Sensor Microphone can also be used as a MIDI interface for all common DAW's, everything necessary is already included.
Mogees blurs the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds and is therefore an extremely innovative means of gaining new influences for your own music simply to experiment.
The relatively inconspicuous plastic ball in connection with the Mogees App for MAC has some surprises in store. The different nature of wood and metal, for example, means that these materials vibrate differently when struck. The Mogees Sensor Microphone can detect these different vibrations.
Different objects become different instruments and so you can quickly turn a conventional wooden door into a whole drum set. Different zones of the door are simply vibrated with different objects or body parts, as long as the vibrations can be distinguished. The zones are then assigned the desired sounds. There are no limits to creativity!
The Mogees app offers a constantly growing, broadly diversified selection of different sounds. You can choose from four sound pools designed specifically for gesture control. Two drum computers and two synthesizers offer everything a musician's heart desires.
Within a few steps, the Mogees Sensor Microphone also becomes a MIDI input and output. So tracks can be recorded with all common Mac DAW's and even for a live performance with a band or as a DJ is possible.
