Originally conceived as a gimmick in the metal and punk scenes of the late 1980s, the Paiste Rude cymbals quickly became an insider’s tip for gritty, powerful sounds.

The iconic Rude cymbals were developed in collaboration with drumming legend Alex Gonzalez from Mexico’s most successful rock band, Mana. Taking the relaunch of the metal project “De La Tierra” as its inspiration, Paiste is building on the successful formula of the Rude series and expanding it with three fabulous new variants: Bashers, Shred Bells and Blast Chinas. All of them fully meet the demands of powerful-sounding instruments with that certain something. Raw tones and assertiveness make the Rude series the ideal companion for all drummers who favour a heavy-handed approach.
