The next generation of the Bass Fly Rig

The Tech 21 Bass Fly Rig V2 represents the logical evolution of the extremely popular Bass Fly Rig and expands the compact multi-effect with some useful additional features and extended sound possibilities for the low-frequency fraction. The handy rig in the handy and suitcase-friendly compact format has two individually adjustable channels and furthermore offers an effect loop for use with external effect units.

Two-channel setup with two selectable amp characters

With the advanced functionality of two full channels and easy-to-access Channel Switch, the Tech 21 Bass Fly Rig V2 offers a variety of ways to deliver the right sound every time. Both channels offer separate controls for determining Level and drive, allowing the channels to be divided into, for example, a clean and dirt sound, two clean channels with different volume levels or two drive channels with different drive settings. In each case, two different characters are available, which can produce either the sound of the VT Bass DI or powerful sounds in the style of the classic 'refrigerator'.

Fuzz, Octave & Chorus

With additional fuzz and octave effects on board, the Tech 21 Bass Fly Rig V2 easily catapults any bass sound into the dirty realms of doom and stoner rock, while the octave effect adds synth-like character to the sound. Since the effect parameters are interactive, the two effects work together to create an enormous variety of possible octave/fuzz sound combinations. Furthermore, a chorus effect is available for wide sound carpets with a warm midrange spectrum and an additional compressor for almost endless sustain.

Chromatic tuners & effects loop

To be prepared at any time and in any environment, the Tech 21 Bass Fly Rig V2 offers an easy-to-reach tuner that guarantees exact tuning results even on the darkest stages thanks to an illuminated and easy-to-read display. If you want to integrate the Bass Fly Rig V2 into existing effects setups or combine it with your favorite stompbox, you can simply use the effects loop on the back. Of course, the Bass Fly Rig V2 comes in a robust metal housing and with sturdy silent-switching metal footswitches to withstand the rigors of everyday touring without any problems.
