The shapely Moskwa II by XAOC Devices is a step sequencer with a circular control panel. 10 years after the first version the manufacturer sends a worthy successor into the race, which has it functionally in itself. The concept with eight CV/gate steps has been kept at first sight, but the features have been extended considerably. The gate sequence can now be 1 to 256 steps long, the CV sequence has a length of eight steps and is adjusted downwards according to the length of the gate sequence. The CV output can still be bipolar or unipolar, additionally a quantizer with eight tone scales can now be switched in and a slew limiter influences the control voltage. A trigger probability can be defined for each step and there are two random modes. Eight memory locations are available for saving the settings. The internal clock generator covers a speed range of 12-2400 BPM. If there is a clock at the Ext Clock input, the tempo control becomes a tempo divider and multiplier. The same happens to the tempo control when a second Moskwa II is connected to the module via the rear bus connector. If you need even more control inputs and outputs, you can expand Moskwa II with the Ostankino II Expander.
