I m not a specialist but these seem fine. I bought these to play the guitar silently. Two cables are in the box, an extra pair of pads (haven’t tried them yet). I enjoy playing and recording with these.
The classic AKG K240 has been a studio reference since it inception, back in the 20th Century.
Since moving manufacture to China, it has become lighter in weight (kinder to the head!) and lower in price (kinder to the wallet/budget) with no loss in sound quality or isolation from background noise.
Still the same professional reference headphones, but now at a price which puts them more easily at reach to serious home musicians and "hi-fi" music lovers.
All this, AND they now come with two interchangeable cable (straight or coiled) and two choices of earcushion (leatherette or velvet) as part of the package.
Well done AKG for improving on an already reference-class product; Well done DV247/MusicStore for providing excellent product and first class service at a very competitive price.
Happy customer (what's not to like?)
