Dual overdrive effect pedal with soft and hard clipping
With the Aclam Cinnamon Drive is a flexible boutique dual overdrive with a soft clipping and a hard clipping stage that delivers flexible crunch and overdrive sounds with the character of classic tube amps from the sixties and seventies.
analogue Circuit with two clipping stages
The heart of the Cinnamon Drive is the analogue circuit, which combines a soft clipping stage with a switchable hard clipping boost stage. The soft clipping stage delivers almost clean sounds and harmonically breaking up crunch, while the hard clipping stage increases the gain reserves up to juicy overdrive.
Flexible EQ
Despite its straightforward layout of five knobs and two footswitches, Aclam's Cinnamon Drive delivers a broad spectrum of premium tone for blues and rock. While the Gain and Volume kn obs determine the distortion and volume of the soft clipping stage, the Boost kn ob controls the strength of the signal fed to the hard clipping stage. This is activated via the Boost footswitch and its volume can be adjusted via the Vol Boost pot. The Tone control determines the treble content in both clipping stages of the Cinnamon Drive pedal.
Internal Bass and Treble Control
For fine-tuning the sound, the Aclam Cinnamon Drive offers two internal DIP switches that, depending on their position, provide a boost or cut in the low frequencies to counteract unwanted booming or elicit a richer low end from small amps. In addition, the Treble mini-pot influences the treble response at the pedal's output.
Pedalboard mounting
The Aclam Cinnamon Drive effect pedal is equipped ex works with a preparation for the Smart-Track system of the Spanish company, which guarantees a secure locking on Aclam Smart-Track pedalboards via two thumbscrews. For mounting on classic pedalboards, the Cinnamon-Drive also comes with a precisely cut Velcro strap.
