The
Heritage Audio MCM 8 MkII
is a combination of API lunchbox and analog summing box with 8 channels. Each channel is assigned to a slot in the 500 format to which a channel fader with pan control, mute switch and separate mute switch for the 500 slot are assigned. Behind a master fader, the sum signal is output via two XLR sockets. In addition, the MCM 8 MkII has all the features of a 500 rack: each slot has its own XLR input and output jack.
The in-house OST topology ensures a constant and safe supply of up to 400mA each to your modules and can easily handle even power-hungry Class A modules and tube circuits. Separate voltage regulators for each individual slot also provide a significantly improved signal-to-noise ratio in the signal path.
This results in numerous application scenarios: For example, while the individual outputs of the slot are used to branch off the signals to a converter, the sum output provides the monitor signal, which can be mixed with the playback via the AUX inputs. You can also use the Heritage Audio MCM 8 MkII as a summing device and add summing compressors and equalizers to the channels as required. The Heritage Audio MCM 8 MkII also cuts a fine figure as a classic lunchbox: before/after comparisons at the touch of a button, analog panning for stereo signals, passive level adjustment before each module and, of course, the power supply, which has been specially developed in comparison to competing products.
