It is characterised by a particularly warm, round tone, which is excellently transported by the solid soundboard made of selected spruce wood. High-quality Millenium III mechanism for maximum playing feel
The feeling at the touch is the key to success, inspiration and craftsmanship. The Kawai K-200 is equipped with Millenium III mechanics. This mechanism contains parts made of ABS-carbon, a composite material made of the patented ABS-syran in combination with carbon fibers. The material of the K-200 is very robust and durable. The long keys allow an easy and even playing feeling. Each key has NEOTEX key pads. These offer a surface that is very similar in texture to natural ivory and ebony.
The Kawai K-200 uses very high-quality materials that ensure the exceptional sound of the piano. As with the grand pianos, the hammer parts of the K series are made of mahogany. All hammers of the K-200 are clamped in a T-shape to keep their shape. The tuning pins are made of high-quality steel, the fine thread is machine-cut to achieve maximum bidirectional torque. The resonant parts of the sounding soundboard are matched to the contours of a grand piano resonance board by the boundary beam of the subfloor.
The Kawai K-200 impresses with clear lines and tasteful accents, which add brilliance to every home with its modern elegance. The music stand of the K-200 is built into the key cover. The brass front rollers are solid and attractively designed. A slow-closing soft-keyboard protects both the hands of the pianist and the surface of the piano from damage caused by unchecked coincidence.
