The Black Corporation Deckard’s Dream Expander presents itself in a timeless grey 1 U / 19" case as a perfect optical complement to the eponymous noble synthesizer. The Expander is not only an extension for the CS-80 Clone Deckard's Dream, but also a stand-alone effects unit.
Five different effects
The Black Corporation Deckard’s Dream Expander is divided into five areas: first, the incoming audio signal is processed with the ring modulator, which has its own oscillator. An ADSR envelope is used to modulate the oscillator frequency. The second range lets you choose between tremolo or chorus, which are adjustable in intensity and speed. This is followed by Delay and Reverb, which are equipped with the usual parameters. The last link in the chain is a simple master envelope consisting of a switchable sustain phase. There is also a volume control and headphone output. On the back you will find the audio inputs and outputs as well as MIDI, which also triggers the envelope for the ring modulator.
