I bought this media player as a network audio center for the purposes of listening my music collection which is placed on NAS (Synology DS418j) via WiFi.
First of all, there were troubles with reading FLAC files via UPNP. The player didn't recognize them and therefore didn't read it. Eventually I resolved the problem by installing the "MinimServer" - standard application for the Synology NAS.
After that the FLAC files became visible for player and could be read by it.
Another displeasure about the device is the problem with Cyrillic symbols. The big part of my music collection has the russian titles and player can't read it properly. Instead of the titles the device shows the "???" symbols that is very unconvinient.
Also, the player doesn't see and read the CUE-files.
I think, this problems can be resolved by firmware. Hope the producer will take into account my request about it (I also wrote to the Denon's support about this trouble).
As for other options and functions of player, I fully pleased. The sound is very clear and transparence. There are not any problems with connecting to WiFi or reading files from USB/SD-card through the card-reader. Also the player easy to pair with the bluetooth devices and it works properly.
If there were no troubles with Cyrillic symbols and CUE-files reading I would estimate this player for 5 stars.
