The Earthworks SR25 was originally designed for drum kit use, but is also excellent for recording strings, acoustic guitars and other instruments. The frequency response is very linear up to over 25kHz. Earthworks instrument microphones guarantee a natural, balanced and particularly spatial sound impression with impressive depth - without resonances, holes or other unevenness. Due to its cardioid pick up pattern, the SR25 allows a clearer focus on the direct sound than Earthworks microphones with omnidirectional pickup patterns.
